The results of POPULAR (POstanaesthesia PULmonary complications After use of muscle Relaxants in Europe), a major prospective observational European study supported by the European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA) and led by the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensivcare of the Technical University of Munich have been published in Lancet Respiratory Medicine.
